Junior Sailing Lessons
We maintain an exciting and phenomenally successful junior program - from beginner, through intermediate and on to advanced racing. Check out the Junior Sailing page for more information.
Team and Championship Sailing Events
Our Junior and Adult sailors compete regularly, on a local, regional and national level. Keep an eye on the site for updates, results and events as they are scheduled.
Thursday Night "Beer can" Series
Casual racing - for the fun of it or just to get your feet wet on the race course. The attitude is casual, the conversation fun and camaraderie that makes Shrewsbury such a special place.
Adult Sailing Lessons
Beginner? Intermediate? Refresher? We have adult classes that not only instruct, but also introduce you to a new environment and new folks who also have a love of the water.
Club Championship Series
Raced by club members, our always competitive intra-club racing series is a focal point of activity for over 100 members and their crews - seniors and juniors - on Sunday afternoons from June through August.
Spring, Holiday & Fall Regattas/Series
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Spring Series and Fall Series. These are great opportunities for visiting boats to compete at Shrewsbury, daughters to take the helm from mom's, siblings to amaze their parents by sailing together and friends to compete on a different level during some of the most glorious sailing days of the year.
Island Sails and Sunset Sails
Around the island or just down the river, evenings and weekends, quiet mornings or on a busy Sunday - almost any day with a breeze is a great day for a sail on the Shrewsbury. Look for updates on this summer's activities by the fleet captains, our social chair and special events chair as they are posted.
